Job Overview

We are on the lookout for a driven and proactive Business Development Manager to enhance our remote team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in fostering strategic growth by identifying, pursuing, and cultivating new business opportunities within the travel industry. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and industry gaps.
  • Analyze competitor activities and market dynamics to develop strategies that bolster our competitive edge.
  • Lead outbound outreach initiatives to advisors, generating actionable insights and growth opportunities.
  • Build and sustain a robust pipeline of new business opportunities through networking and industry events.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key clients by delivering tailored solutions that align with their specific needs.
  • Develop compelling proposals and presentations that underscore our value proposition.
  • Identify and establish strategic partnerships within the travel sector to enhance service offerings and market reach.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and improve service delivery.
  • Utilize social media creatively to engage clients and enhance brand visibility.
  • Stay abreast of travel industry trends and maintain an in-depth knowledge of our offerings to effectively communicate their value.

Required Skills

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field (experience in the travel industry is preferred).
  • A solid professional network within the travel sector.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Tableau, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Advanced data analysis and reporting capabilities, with the ability to extract actionable insights.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a proven track record of overcoming challenges.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to foster trust and rapport with clients.
  • Excellent time management skills, able to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
  • High emotional intelligence and a proactive, problem-solving attitude.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.
