Position Overview

We are a passionate team of designers and engineers, boasting backgrounds in robotics and consumer technology, dedicated to creating exceptional products that resonate with users. As we gear up for the launch of our groundbreaking product, we seek a talented and proactive Growth Marketing Manager to spearhead our pre-launch and launch marketing initiatives.

In this pivotal role, you will contribute your marketing expertise while developing inventive and impactful campaigns. The initial three months will involve close collaboration with our founding team to design a customer journey that encompasses initial digital interactions and long-term engagement. You will be instrumental in shaping our marketing strategies during the pre-launch and launch phases. Responsibilities will include understanding our target personas, crafting a high-converting pre-launch landing page, managing email marketing efforts, executing social media content strategies, and leading influencer and public relations campaigns. We seek an individual with a proven history of driving growth, particularly in the hardware sector within a startup context.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research to delineate and understand target personas.
  • Formulate and implement marketing strategies for both pre-launch and launch stages.
  • Develop initiatives to cultivate a high-intent audience prior to crowdfunding.
  • Oversee the creation of a high-converting pre-launch landing page.
  • Manage first-party email marketing strategies.
  • Plan and execute content calendars for social media platforms.
  • Identify and collaborate with influencers to broaden reach and awareness.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive public relations strategy.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as pre-launch sign-ups and social media engagement, providing regular insights.
  • Gather and analyze feedback from early adopters to enhance marketing strategies.
  • Optimize campaigns based on data to maximize return on investment.
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure marketing activities align with product development and business objectives.
  • Manage marketing budgets effectively to maximize resources and impact.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline (MBA or advanced degree is a plus).
  • 5 years of experience in growth marketing, preferably within hardware or consumer electronics. Experience in a startup environment is highly regarded.
  • Demonstrated success in executing pre-launch and launch campaigns, with specific examples of past growth outcomes.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with an emphasis on data-driven decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot, Mailchimp, and social media management tools).
  • Familiarity with major social media channels, such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and X.
  • A creative mindset with the ability to craft engaging content that resonates with target audiences.
  • Experience in influencer marketing and public relations strategies.
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup atmosphere.
