Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Outside Sales Account Manager to join our dynamic team in a fully remote capacity. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in delivering customized solutions in essential power sectors, contributing to the growth and innovation of our services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve assigned sales targets while actively supporting the broader marketing strategy.
  • Cultivate and maintain enduring relationships with both prospective and existing clients.
  • Transform warm leads and referrals into successful sales by addressing client needs with appropriate solutions.
  • Collaborate with the inside sales team to ensure effective order processing and inventory management.
  • Elevate awareness of product offerings within established and emerging markets.
  • Address client inquiries and resolve issues promptly to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in industry events and engage with relevant associations to bolster the company’s visibility.
  • Investigate new geographic markets and product opportunities that align with our organizational capabilities.

Required Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of electrical distribution and technical experience preferred.
  • Proven sales experience with a strong command of sales prospecting methodologies.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and effective customer relationship management practices.
  • Proficient in office applications, including QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite (Word & Excel).
  • Ability to work autonomously with a self-motivated and determined approach.
  • Exceptional follow-up capabilities and a relentless drive to close sales.
  • Comfortable operating general office equipment.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in marketing, business management, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of five years of sales experience, ideally within the electrical distribution or construction sectors.
  • Advanced sales training and demonstrated relationship-building proficiency.

Compensation And Benefits

This position operates on a commission-based compensation model, with specifics to be discussed during the interview process for qualified candidates. Additional benefits include:
