Key Responsibilities

• Organize, plan, and create content to support newly authorized governmental programs and initiatives.
• Lead the development and execution of social media strategies, focusing on engaging content and visually striking graphics.
• Collaborate with various working groups to ensure timely completion of critical deliverables and consistent messaging across platforms.
• Partner with leadership to implement policy priorities and optimize resource allocation.
• Produce, edit, and create short-form video content tailored for social media platforms, including LinkedIn and Instagram.
• Design captivating graphics and layouts that meet brand standards, ensuring all deliverables are visually compelling.
• Develop assets such as social media posts, email templates, online advertisements, and presentations for both internal and external audiences.
• Utilize typography, color, and imagery to create clear, exciting designs suitable for both print and digital formats.
• Maintain and update branding guidelines, templates, and assets to reflect the evolving identity of the brand.
• Create high-quality print materials that align seamlessly with the brand's digital presence.
  
  

Required Skills

• Minimum of 4 years of graphic design experience.
• Familiarity with government programs, the energy sector, or energy-related initiatives is advantageous.
• A portfolio demonstrating your design work, including illustrations and graphics.
• Proficient in design software such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, and Photoshop.
• Skilled in photo retouching, image manipulation, and creating branded icons and elements.
• Experience in video editing and basic animation.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and expertise in business writing.
  
  

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is essential.
