Position: Residential/Commercial Sales Project Estimator

Location: Orleans, Massachusetts

This role offers an exceptional opportunity for hands-on training from the owner, making it ideal for experienced estimators in the residential and light commercial sectors, as well as for seasoned Leads or Foremen seeking to transition into estimating.

Key Responsibilities

  • Estimate residential and light commercial HVAC installation projects.
  • Conduct load calculations to ensure accurate equipment sizing.
  • Prepare comprehensive material and wiring lists.
  • Manage project costing and estimate labor hours.
  • Compose detailed estimates and installation contracts.
  • Collaborate closely with the owner to guarantee project success.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 5 years of HVAC estimating experience or relevant field experience.
  • Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and data entry.
  • Basic accounting knowledge.
  • Familiarity with WriteSoft is preferred.
  • Strong organizational abilities and communication skills.
  • Competence in performing load calculations and preparing material lists.
  • Knowledge of Federal, State, and Local HVAC incentives is an advantage.
  • HVAC Trade School certification is preferred.
  • Proficiency in HVAC functional design and ductwork installation is desirable.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

  • Pay structure: 10% commission-based.
  • Relocation Package: Available if required.
