Job Title: Project Coordinator - Service & Small Construction

Job Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Project Coordinator to assist in the coordination of our service and small construction projects. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside project managers and various team members, ensuring seamless project execution from initial sale through to closeout. This role encompasses projects across residential, commercial, and small-scale construction sectors, making it an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities

As a Project Coordinator, Your Primary Duties Will Include

  • Providing support to Project Managers with necessary coordination tasks.
  • Establishing job setups in project management systems, such as Jonas and Basecamp, while organizing project documentation.
  • Collecting and managing essential customer data to ensure project success.
  • Scheduling dispatch for work orders and effectively communicating start times to clients.
  • Coordinating necessary tasks, including PG&E shutdowns and associated communications via email.
  • Overseeing project invoicing according to contract milestones.
  • Aiding in scope management and conveying change order requirements to the sales team.
  • Collaborating closely with engineering, sales, and management teams to maintain alignment and progress on projects.

Required Skills

To excel in this role, candidates should demonstrate:

  • Strong management and leadership capabilities.
  • Proficiency in renewable energy solutions, particularly solar power.
  • The ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Competence in basic computer applications, including Windows, Word, Outlook, and Excel.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will possess:

  • A valid driver's license and eligibility to meet company auto insurance standards.
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in energy technology, sales, customer service, or construction project management. Experience in construction or electrical sectors is advantageous but not mandatory.

Compensation And Benefits

Salary: \(17.00 to \)26.00 per hour
