Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound sales calls and follow up on inbound leads to cultivate and maintain robust relationships with both prospective and existing clients.
- Collaborate closely with marketing teams to develop impactful sales materials and engage actively in customer-facing trade shows.
- Partner with sales teams to identify strategic cross-selling opportunities, ensuring tailored solutions that optimize sales potential for our customers.
- Utilize AutoQuotes software to prepare, manage, and ensure the accuracy of quotes for large-scale opportunities, aligning with client needs.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure deeper discounts, enhancing profit margins on bids and sales orders.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams—including sales representatives and product managers—to ensure streamlined operations and competitive quoting strategies.
- Generate comprehensive reports and insights to refine the quoting process and enhance overall sales strategies.
- Provide online support for inquiries, resolve customer issues, and assist with quote requests as necessary.
- Adapt to changing business needs and take on additional responsibilities to support team objectives.
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 2-3 years of experience in either inside or outside sales, preferably within the foodservice equipment and supplies industry.
- Proficiency in AutoQuotes software or similar quoting applications is beneficial.
- Strong interpersonal skills to facilitate effective collaboration across teams and with customers.
- Flexibility to travel up to 20% as required.
