Sales Support Specialist

Are you a meticulous and enthusiastic professional keen on supporting sales and enhancing customer relationships? We are seeking a Sales Support Specialist to significantly contribute to our sales efforts within the foodservice equipment sector. This role presents an excellent opportunity to collaborate with sales and marketing teams, manage quotes for major projects, and nurture robust customer relationships—ultimately aiding in the expansion of our business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Support & Lead Generation - Execute outbound sales calls and follow up on incoming leads to build and sustain meaningful relationships with potential and existing clients.
  • Marketing & Trade Show Collaboration - Partner with marketing teams to create compelling sales materials and actively engage in customer-facing trade shows.
  • Cross-Selling & Strategic Sales Initiatives - Work alongside sales teams to uncover cross-selling opportunities, ensuring customers are provided with customized solutions that optimize sales potential.
  • Quote Management & Large-Scale Projects - Employ AutoQuotes software to prepare and oversee quotes for significant opportunities, guaranteeing precision and alignment with client requirements.
  • Profit Margin Improvement - Negotiate with suppliers to secure deeper discounts that improve profit margins on bids and sales orders.
  • Collaboration & Communication - Collaborate closely with internal teams, including sales representatives, product managers, and stakeholders, to ensure smooth operations and competitive quoting methodologies.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting - Generate reports and offer insights to refine the quoting process and overall sales strategy.
  • E-Support & Customer Assistance - Provide assistance for online inquiries, resolve customer issues, and support quote requests as required.

What You Bring

  • Education & Experience - A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Industry Insight - 2-3 years of sales experience, preferably within the foodservice equipment and supplies sector.
  • Technical Proficiency - Familiarity with AutoQuotes or comparable quoting software is advantageous.
  • Communication & Teamwork - Exceptional interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across teams and with customers.
  • Flexibility & Travel - Willingness to travel up to 20% as needed.
