Key Responsibilities
- Manage your own caseload independently from initiation through resolution or trial.
- Collaborate closely with supervising partners to develop case strategies and management plans.
- Draft pleadings, motions, and various legal documents.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research and prepare detailed case analyses.
- Participate in mediation and arbitration proceedings as required.
- Active license to practice law in Missouri; additional licenses in Illinois, Indiana, Tennessee, or West Virginia are advantageous.
- Prior experience with asbestos-related cases is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of civil litigation experience, including the preparation of pleadings, written discovery, motions, and associated litigation documents.
- Proficient in legal research, writing, and advocacy.
- Exceptional ability to multitask and meet stringent deadlines effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation capabilities.
- Proven aptitude for analyzing complex legal issues and producing superior quality work.
- A proactive disposition with a readiness to take ownership of projects and assignments.
- Experience with mediations and arbitrations is a plus.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active Missouri law license.
