Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with skilled engineers and architects to architect and develop robust, secure identity solutions tailored for our clientele.
- Engage with leadership teams across Product, Architecture, Design, and Engineering to discuss and refine features and functionalities.
- Partner with other engineering teams, IT, and business stakeholders to grasp requirements and deliver innovative identity solutions.
- Provide expert guidance on best practices, methodologies, and current trends in identity and authentication technologies.
- Enhance system quality and performance by creating frameworks, minimizing technical debt, and establishing engineering best practices.
- Identify opportunities for refactoring, API optimization, and addressing technical debt to enhance overall system efficiency.
- Influence technical decision-making by delivering clear and actionable insights on technology selection.
- Remain informed on evolving industry standards, contribute insights into platform gaps, and assist in shaping the roadmap for a premier CIAM platform.
- Foster collaboration among team members to pinpoint and address complex issues, balancing business needs with technical requirements.
- Collaborate closely with business teams to design and execute data-driven experiments and A/B tests, refining solutions based on analytical insights.
- 10-15 years of experience in the design, development, and maintenance of production software systems and identity solutions.
- Strong technical expertise in application design, architecture, and relevant technical domains, including network security and infrastructure engineering.
- Proficient in identity management technologies, protocols, and standards, emphasizing reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Comprehensive knowledge of identity standards such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SCIM, etc.
- Extensive experience in designing modern web applications and APIs with a strong focus on performance and scalability.
- Solid understanding of application security, including authentication and authorization protocols, and information security best practices.
- Proficiency in modern technologies such as JavaScript, Typescript, React, Next.js, and Node.js.
- Strong grasp of advanced design patterns (e.g., MVC, service-to-worker, dependency injection) to implement efficient code.
- Expertise in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable software designs.
- Experience with HTTP, REST APIs, and the development of web services/microservices in a commercial environment.
- Familiarity with SQL, NoSQL, and contemporary database technologies, as well as frameworks like Hibernate.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven track record of working with identity management technologies and application design.
