Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Director of E-commerce to execute strategic initiatives that drive growth and revenue.
• Deliver regular updates on website performance and development milestones.
• Maintain and optimize website architecture for an efficient user experience.
• Analyze site performance using metrics to facilitate data-driven enhancements.
• Work in tandem with Marketing and Brand teams to design appealing and functional user interfaces, emphasizing mobile-first navigation.
• Elevate the online shopping experience through personalized content and customer feedback integration.
• Implement technology upgrades to enhance website functionality.
• Refine site features such as shopping cart functionality, payment processing, and product search capabilities.
• Develop and oversee SEO and SEM strategies to improve online visibility.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and agencies to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Supervise the performance of third-party services and recommend enhancements.
  
  

Required Skills

• Strong foundation in Computer Science or Engineering principles.
• Minimum of 5 years in server-side JavaScript development.
• At least 3 years of experience in an Agile development setting.
• Proficient in relational or NoSQL databases for at least 3 years.
• Experience in developing API-first services using REST and GraphQL for 3 years.
• A minimum of 2 years working with Next.js and React, demonstrating a solid understanding of best practices.
• Familiarity with Builder.io Headless CMS is advantageous.
• Competence with modern version control systems such as GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
• Comprehensive knowledge of best development practices, including unit testing and secrets management.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving capabilities.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in website operations, e-commerce, or digital marketing.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is required.
• Proven track record of driving website growth and enhancing user experiences.
