Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Senior .NET Software Engineer to join our dynamic team and take part in the advancement of our cutting-edge communication platform. This position allows for 100% remote work, with a hybrid schedule available for candidates located in the El Dorado Hills, CA area.

As a Senior .NET Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in the design and execution of new features, performance enhancement, and collaboration with product teams to convert user requirements into practical technical solutions. Your work will significantly influence the scalability and effectiveness of our platform, which serves millions of users and thousands of organizations globally.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop innovative features for our communication platform using .NET, C#, and Xamarin to ensure compatibility across diverse platforms.
• Enhance application performance, guaranteeing a smooth and seamless experience for users on both iOS and Android devices, including those utilizing .NET MAUI.
• Collaborate with product teams to interpret user needs and create robust technical solutions that meet current industry standards.
• Engage in code reviews to uphold high-quality coding standards, applying best practices in C# and Java development.
• Keep abreast of the latest trends and best practices in .NET development and mobile application frameworks.
• Mentor and support junior engineers, sharing expertise in mobile development methodologies and coding best practices.
  
  

Required Skills

• Extensive experience in full-stack software development, with a particular focus on front-end development (5 years).
• Proficiency in C# and .NET, with experience in .NET MAUI and Xamarin for mobile app development (5 years).
• Demonstrated experience in programming for iOS and Android, particularly in delivering high-quality, user-centric mobile applications (5 years).
• Knowledge of backend services, specifically in RESTful API development.
• Strong grasp of software design patterns and principles, with the ability to implement them effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging capabilities, especially in multi-platform settings.
• Familiarity with working in Agile teams and cross-functional collaboration.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
