Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop sophisticated Full Stack applications, ensuring scalability, security, and high performance.
- Act as a technical lead, offering guidance to both internal and external teams.
- Drive continuous improvement across our application portfolio.
- Stay informed on emerging trends in SaaS, cloud computing, and DevOps to implement innovative solutions.
- Formulate strategies to boost operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex software challenges with sustainable solutions.
- Advocate for API-centric development and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Maintain consistent software development practices aligned with industry best practices.
- Manage eCommerce applications to ensure optimal performance and user satisfaction.
- Oversee the design of high-availability applications leveraging multi-tier cloud architecture.
- Mentor junior engineers, cultivating a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
- Conduct rigorous testing to uphold application quality and address identified issues promptly.
- Implement comprehensive security measures to safeguard customer data.
- Create and maintain essential technical documentation.
- Regularly monitor system performance and optimize application responsiveness.
- Minimum of 8 years of practical experience in designing and developing complex Full Stack applications.
- Proven proficiency in managing eCommerce applications and platforms.
- Strong experience with CMS, headless architecture, and various commerce platforms.
- Mastery of JavaScript/TypeScript and Python (Django, Flask), along with familiarity in messaging systems like RabbitMQ and Kafka.
- Experienced in microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of cloud technologies, particularly AWS.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitOps, Jenkins, Maven, and JIRA.
- Experience with both relational and NoSQL databases, with a preference for hands-on development.
- Experience with the Vtex eCommerce platform and Nosto (for eCommerce personalization) is a plus.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
