You will be instrumental in creating and reviewing a range of deliverables such as panel front views, AC & DC schematics, wiring diagrams, and yard equipment layouts using MicroStation and AutoCAD. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and produce high-quality design outputs utilizing MicroStation and AutoCAD
- Adhere to project timelines and meet client expectations regarding schedules and budgets
- Conduct P&C design work with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
- Assist in project scoping and estimation processes
- Review and endorse design contributions from team members to ensure compliance with client and national standards
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and designers
- Engage in occasional travel (1-2 days, approximately once every 2-3 months) and be available for overtime as needed
- Proficiency in MicroStation and AutoCAD software
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in design outputs
- Proven ability to juggle multiple projects and meet strict deadlines
- Experience in electrical substation P&C design
- Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities
- Ability to foster mentorship and guidance for junior engineers and designers
- 5 years of experience in Electrical Substation P&C Design
- Experience in project scoping and estimating is a valuable asset
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
- Professional Engineering License (PE) is highly preferred
- Capability to collaborate effectively within a team and manage overlapping project timelines
