Key Responsibilities
- Deliver after-hours triage services to hospice patients, adhering to customized care protocols to ensure compassionate, patient-centered service.
- Operate remotely, assisting families and patients during critical times without the burden of a daily commute.
- Maintain a part-time evening schedule (3:30 PM - 12:00 AM CST) with rotating Saturday and Sunday shifts.
- Utilize electronic medical records (EMRs) to access and document patient information accurately.
- Complete necessary preparation and post-call documentation for each shift.
- Valid LPN License: Must possess or be willing to secure a Compact LPN license (must reside or work in a Compact US state).
- End-of-Life Care Experience: Prior experience in hospice, palliative, or end-of-life care is a prerequisite.
- Fast-Paced Environment: Experience in high-stakes settings like Emergency Departments (ED), critical care, or surgical services is advantageous.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in utilizing various technological applications and rapid typing skills in a dynamic environment.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate empathetically with patients while strictly following established protocols.
- Must reside in the U.S. and be legally eligible to work.
