Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the management and design of Next Generation Palo Alto Firewalls across nearly 400 sites.
- Engage in incident response and participate in on-call rotations to ensure comprehensive security coverage.
- Lead high-level escalation support for various security initiatives within the team.
- Profound experience with Next Generation Firewalls, TCP/IP protocols, WAN, and internet technologies.
- Excellent communication skills, with the capability to convey complex information clearly and listen effectively.
- Collaborative mindset and a proactive approach to teamwork, focused on achieving security objectives.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail, particularly for managing intricate tasks and large-scale projects.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in firewall management, including 5 years specifically with Palo Alto technologies.
- A balanced skill set comprising approximately 50% engineering design/architecture and 50% firewall management.
- Proven leadership capability as a lead engineer within large organizations managing firewall systems.
- Familiarity with cyber threats, attack methodologies, and defensive strategies.

Compensation And Benefits
- Base Salary: \(140,000 - \)155,000 (based on experience)
- Annual Bonus: Historically averages 31% of base salary, alongside 401K matching.
- Educational Benefits:
- $4,000 educational credit for employee

- Total Compensation: \(187,000 - \)213,000 (inclusive of salary, bonus, and educational credits).
