Key Responsibilities
- Act as the principal consultant for clients, offering expert guidance on pension plan risk management.
- Oversee revenue management, budgeting, and team operations.
- Contribute significantly to departmental strategy and direction.
- Prepare and oversee annual budgets and facilitate client invoicing.
- Serve as an actuarial subject matter expert for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain high-quality standards in all deliverables.
- Engage in business development initiatives, including RFP responses and networking endeavors.
- Foster a positive and engaged team environment.
- Safeguard all confidential information diligently.
- Undertake additional tasks and projects as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Math, Actuarial Science, or a related discipline.
- ASA and EA designations are essential; FSA is highly preferred.
- Over 10 years of experience in pension consulting, project management, and staff management.
- Familiarity with public sector and/or church plans is advantageous; knowledge of relevant Florida regulations is strongly preferred.
- Exceptional communication skills, particularly in client consulting and presentations.
