Key Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate crisis intervention services via phone and in-person.
- Conduct comprehensive needs assessments to identify clients’ specific requirements and connect them with appropriate resources.
- Provide referrals to community services and support clients during hospitalization evaluations.
- Maintain thorough documentation of all clinical interventions and interactions.
- Collaborate effectively with clients, families, and professionals both within and outside the organization.
- Expertise in compassionate crisis intervention.
- Proficient in needs assessment and evaluation.
- Knowledgeable about community resources for effective referrals.
- Strong documentation and record-keeping abilities.
- Collaborative mindset to work harmoniously with various stakeholders.
- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or Psychiatric Nursing.
- Active licensure with the Kansas Behavioral Science Regulatory Board or Board of Nursing.
- A minimum of one (1) year post-degree experience in the mental health field, with a focus on assessing and diagnosing mental health disorders preferred.
- Eligibility for Title XIX reimbursement is necessary.
- Basic computer proficiency.
