Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of auto physical damage claims from initiation to resolution.
- Ensure strict adherence to all relevant state and federal regulations, along with company policies and practices.
- Facilitate effective communication with agents, claimants, and policyholders to maintain a positive experience for all parties involved.
- Evaluate and apply coverage determinations while conducting thorough investigations into claims.
- Assess vehicle damage utilizing appropriate tools and collaborate with body shops and appraisers.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings through salvage and subrogation efforts.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of all claims and establish adequate case reserves.
- Proactively recognize potential fraud indicators and collaborate with the Special Investigations Unit as necessary.
- Uphold and renew necessary state adjuster licenses and engage in ongoing professional development activities.
- Proven experience in customer service, demonstrating an ability to connect effectively with clients.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex information clearly.
- Proficient in computer applications and possess solid keyboarding skills.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Previous experience in a customer-focused role is essential.
