Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee a diverse caseload of litigation from inception through resolution independently.
• Work in tandem with senior attorneys and partners on strategic case planning and complex legal projects.
• Conduct court appearances, depositions, and hearings with professionalism and confidence.
• Effectively communicate with clients, providing timely updates and informative status reports.
• Tackle high-stakes legal issues, including First Amendment rights, police misconduct, and land use matters.
• Engage in thorough legal research, draft motions, and prepare for trial proceedings.

• Strong background in employment law, general liability, complex torts, and civil rights law.
• Proven proficiency in deposition preparation, discovery management, and trial preparation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, focusing on clear and concise legal reporting.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law institution.
• Admission to practice law in the State of New York.
• A minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, ideally in employment law, complex torts, general liability, or civil rights.
• Prior exposure to municipal liability defense is advantageous.
  
  

Compensation And Benefits
