- Collaborate proactively with a distributed remote team to nurture community engagement and expansion.
- Create and disseminate high-quality content to promote community initiatives, keeping members informed of events, achievements, and collaborative efforts.
- Provide essential technical support, equipping developers with the necessary tools and resources for success.
- Serve as a liaison between community members and internal teams, championing community interests while facilitating effective collaboration.
- Engage across various platforms, including forums, social media, and conferences, to enhance community interaction.
- Represent the community at conferences, expos, and events, sharing insights on technical projects.
- Participate in global travel opportunities, with 2-4 weeks per year dedicated to international engagements, with potential for additional travel.
- Cultivate a welcoming atmosphere for community contributions, supporting sustainable growth for open-source projects.
- A genuine passion for technology and open-source initiatives, along with a desire to collaborate with talented individuals.

- Excellent communication skills, demonstrated through a public portfolio of accomplishments (e.g., blog posts, GitHub contributions, speaking engagements).
- Experience with open-source projects and developer tools, as well as proficiency in Linux (both kernel and userspace).
- Familiarity with two or more areas such as DevOps, software development, testing/QA, package management, or container technology.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership of objectives, and manage time effectively.
- Experience interacting with open-source communities and understanding the dynamics of volunteer-driven projects.
- Experience in community management or developer advocacy is advantageous.
