Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and proficient Electrical Engineer to become part of our innovative team. Key Responsibilities

• Design and Engineering: Spearhead and assist in the development of electrical systems encompassing power, lighting, grounding, fire alarms, and low voltage systems.
• Collaboration: Demonstrate effective teamwork and independent work ability, maintaining clear communication with colleagues and stakeholders.
• Project Involvement: Assume responsibility as the engineer of record, guiding projects from initial concept through to construction documentation and administration.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, facilitating their technical and professional growth.
• Calculations and Analysis: Execute load demand calculations, short-circuit analyses, arc flash hazard assessments, and other essential system design functions.
• Software Proficiency: Employ tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, and SKM Powertools to develop design layouts, schedules, and specifications.
• Fieldwork: Conduct site assessments to verify field conditions and ensure that designs align with specified requirements.
  
  

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, alongside electrical design software.
• Strong capability to perform electrical calculations, load flow analyses, and other critical engineering tasks.
• In-depth understanding of codes, standards, and regulations, including the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and documentation.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in MEP or AE firms, with a strong emphasis on electrical engineering.
• Professional Engineering (PE) License is preferred, but Engineer-in-Training (EIT) candidates will also be considered.
