Key Responsibilities

As a Compliance Benefits Administrator, you will be integral in the following:

  • Drafting and completing Plan Documents for Health & Welfare Benefit Plans tailored for our clients, collaborating closely with Account Managers, Sales, and Compliance teams.
  • Creating and finalizing Amendments to client Plans, ensuring clarity and accuracy in all documentation.
  • Conducting document analysis to guarantee proper integration of mandatory contract provisions.
  • Maintaining and updating plan templates, Summary of Benefits, and other relevant documents.
  • Overseeing the internal Compliance Department logs to track and disseminate documents across various teams.
  • Proactively engaging with clients, brokers, and internal staff to ensure timely document completion.
  • Recommending enhancements to documentation and processes to improve clarity and consistency.
  • Supporting research for client-specific issues while remaining current on applicable regulations.
  • Assisting Sales and Client Services teams with client-related requests concerning plan documents.
  • Collaborating with different internal departments to interpret plan language and resolve compliance issues.
  • Addressing contract-related matters in consultation with staff to enhance operational efficiency.

Required Skills

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent educational background.
  • Knowledge of health plan administration and employee benefits.
  • Familiarity with employee benefit plan regulations and compliance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • A keen eye for detail and strong analytical capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and in a team environment.
  • A commitment to confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.

Qualifications

Candidates must have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Relevant experience within a benefits compliance environment is preferred.
