Job Overview

Join our dynamic team as an IAM Java Developer, where you will leverage your expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions to enhance secure authentication and identity management systems. This fully remote role is based in California, with flexible hybrid work arrangements available for those who prefer a blended approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and manage user identity authentication and provisioning systems.
• Engage with IAM tools, including Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions and various security protocols.
• Establish and configure integrations across IT systems such as web services, databases, and authentication proxies.
• Diagnose technical issues, execute system upgrades, and uphold security best practices.
• Participate in a 24⁄7 on-call rotation to maintain system integrity as required.
  
  

Required Skills

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in Information Technology, with a specialization in Java development and IAM solutions.
• Proficient in Java development, particularly with Spring and Hibernate frameworks.
• In-depth knowledge of IAM technologies, including OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect, and Shibboleth.
• Experience in working with RESTful APIs, SOAP messaging, and system integrations.
• Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL and MySQL, along with security best practices.
• Understanding of cloud platforms, especially AWS, and various security protocols.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
• Preferred qualifications include CISSP certification, experience in database administration, and knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
