This role encompasses a wide range of clinical processes, including program admissions, transitions, and discharges, all while adhering to organizational policies and state regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical supervision to non-licensed staff, fostering their professional development and effectively managing caseloads.
- Spearhead the team in formulating individualized treatment plans, collaborating closely with clients to meet their objectives.
- Assess and address crisis situations, assigning and prescribing appropriate follow-up services as required.
- Conduct thorough psychosocial evaluations and accurately assign diagnoses.
- Complete LOCUS/CALOCUS assessments for all clients and oversee necessary reassessments as stipulated by state and managed care organizations (MCOs).
- Ensure comprehensive review of progress notes, providing constructive feedback to maintain the highest standards of care.
- Participate in clinical reviews as necessitated by Clinical Management Organizations (CMOs).
- Assist physicians during medication management sessions when needed and remain on-call to provide client support.
- Manage all aspects of program admissions, transitions, and discharges to ensure a seamless process for clients.
- Deliver Community Psychiatric Supportive Treatment (CPST) to clients enrolled in services.
- Compile and finalize documentation for assessments within 48 hours of service provision, attending to all required paperwork for clinical supervision.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in multitasking and meeting stringent deadlines for data entry and reporting.
- Competent in the development and execution of treatment plans.
- Skilled in conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments and assigning accurate diagnoses in accordance with DSM standards.
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
- Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling, with current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
- Active, in-good-standing license is mandatory.
- Must possess an NPI number and CAQH number, in addition to being registered with LAMedicaid.
- Ability to obtain CPR certification within 45 days of hire is required.
- Experience in supervising and mentoring non-licensed clinicians is essential.
