Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical guidance and supervision to non-licensed personnel, fostering their professional growth and optimizing caseload management.
- Collaborate with clients to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with their personal goals.
- Assess crisis situations to determine appropriate follow-up services and interventions as necessary.
- Conduct thorough psychosocial evaluations and accurately assign relevant diagnoses.
- Complete LOCUS/CALOCUS assessments for all clients and oversee necessary reassessments mandated by state and managed care organizations (MCOs).
- Ensure timely and precise documentation of progress notes, offering constructive feedback to enhance care quality.
- Participate in clinical reviews as required or requested by Clinical Management Organizations (CMOs).
- Support physicians during medication management appointments as needed and remain available on-call for client assistance.
- Manage the admissions, transitions, and discharge processes for programs, ensuring a seamless experience for clients.
- Gather and verify documentation required for client assessments and ensure compliance with agency policies and procedures.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong ability to juggle multiple tasks while meeting tight deadlines for data entry and reporting.
- Proficiency in developing and executing effective treatment plans.
- Competency in diagnosing individuals in accordance with DSM standards.
- Experience in supervising and training non-licensed clinicians, enhancing their professional capabilities.
- Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling with an active licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
- Must maintain a current and in-good-standing license.
- Ability to function independently, manage a flexible schedule, and work with minimal oversight.
- Possession of an NPI number and CAQH number, with registration with LAMedicaid.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Ability to obtain CPR certification within 45 days if offered the position.
