Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to non-licensed staff, promoting their professional development and effective management of caseloads.
- Collaborate with clients to create tailored treatment plans that align with their goals.
- Assess crisis situations and determine appropriate follow-up services.
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and provide accurate diagnoses.
- Manage program admissions, transitions, and discharges, ensuring a seamless experience for clients.
- Ensure all documentation, including progress notes and assessments, are completed promptly and accurately.
- Participate in clinical reviews and assist during medication management appointments as necessary.
- Remain available on-call to provide client support as required.
- Strong clinical supervision and leadership abilities.
- Proficient in developing and implementing treatment plans.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Capability to conduct thorough psychosocial assessments.
- Ability to multitask effectively while meeting deadlines.
- Understanding of program policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
- Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling, with current licensure as either a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
- Must maintain an active license in good standing.
- Valid driver's license and registered with LAMedicaid.
- Experience in supervising non-licensed clinicians and diagnosing individuals according to DSM standards.
- Ability to obtain CPR certification within 45 days if selected for the position.
