Key Responsibilities
- Deliver clinical supervision to non-licensed personnel, fostering their professional development and ensuring efficient management of caseloads.
- Manage program admissions, transitions, and discharges for a seamless client experience.
- Evaluate crisis situations and coordinate appropriate follow-up services as required.
- Conduct thorough initial psychosocial evaluations, assign diagnoses, and complete essential documentation, including LOCUS/CALOCUS for all clients.
- Ensure compliance with state and MCO guidelines through timely reassessments.
- Lead the development of personalized treatment plans that cater to the specific needs of each client.
- Initiate authorization request forms for clients upon their admission to services.
- Review and endorse progress notes, providing constructive feedback and support to staff as necessary.
- Actively participate in clinical reviews as required by the CMO(s).
- Provide Community Psychiatric Supportive Treatment (CPST) to admitted clients.
- Gather information for re-assessments and ensure all documentation is duly completed.
- Uphold program policies and procedures to maintain agency compliance.
- Assist physicians during medication management sessions as needed.
- Be available for on-call client support as required.
- Proven ability to work autonomously while managing a flexible schedule with minimal oversight.
- Strong organizational skills combined with effective communication and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in both written and verbal communication.
- In-depth knowledge of confidentiality, incident reporting, and professional ethics standards.
- Competent in diagnosing individuals in accordance with DSM standards.
- Experience in formulating and executing treatment plans.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and mentor non-licensed clinicians.
- Must be able to obtain CPR certification within 45 days if position is offered.
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related discipline.
- Current and active licensure as an LPC or LCSW, in good standing.
- NPI number, CAQH number, and registration with LA Medicaid are required.
- A valid driver’s license is essential.
