Remote Manager - Construction Project

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Construction Project Manager to join our team in a remote capacity. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing diverse facets of project execution and implementation, ensuring that client expectations are not only met but exceeded. Your leadership will be instrumental in cultivating robust client relationships and managing the entire project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and direct project implementation from the initial programming and design phases through to permitting, bidding, and construction management.
• Assume responsibility for managing projects up to 75,000 RSF.
• Develop and oversee project budgets, accounting for both hard and soft costs.
• Coordinate project schedules, team selections, and financial oversight to ensure seamless execution.
• Implement marketing and development strategies aimed at strengthening client relationships.
• Provide effective on-site supervision to guarantee that project performance standards are upheld.
• Establish and nurture strong partnerships with consultants, contractors, and vendors.
• Maintain all accounts receivable within designated working capital charge limits.
• Organize and track all RFPs, contracts, invoices, and relevant documentation, ensuring accuracy and consistency in electronic files.
  
  

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 2-5 years of experience in a similar project management role or as an Associate Project Manager.
• Comprehensive understanding of the construction, architecture, or commercial real estate sectors.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with executive-level clients both internally and externally.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of prioritizing and managing diverse business requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Fundamental knowledge of BlueBeam.
• Strong ability to multitask and work collaboratively within a team while also being capable of independent work.
