Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and direct cross-functional teams to ensure effective management of Medicaid programs.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Leads, Technical Leads, and Management to define and meet product objectives.
- Manage the product development lifecycle from initial conception to final implementation, ensuring it aligns with overarching business goals.
- Refine product strategies, including the enhancement of existing Medicaid products.
- Provide strategic insights to senior leadership, contributing to the development of long-term product roadmaps.
- Effectively communicate objectives, project status, and outcomes to team members and executives.
- Engage with customers to discern their requirements and translate these into actionable product specifications.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and vendors, offering recommendations for potential investments.
- Facilitate training sessions—both virtually and in person—on product functionalities and implementations.
- Employ data analysis, surveys, and key performance indicators to evaluate product success.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations, policies, and security protocols.
- Undertake additional related responsibilities as required.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience with enterprise IT systems, including system integrations and change management best practices.
- Strong familiarity with CMS' Seven Standards and Conditions and the Medicaid program.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic, deadline-oriented environment.
- Proficient in crafting business use cases, process maps, and data flows to support IT initiatives.
- Expertise in product management, business analysis, project management, or software development.
- Exceptional skills in persuasion, negotiation, relationship management, and conflict resolution.
- Proficient in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Adobe software.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools.
- Knowledge of Cloud technologies (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) is advantageous.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and handling PII data.
- Previous experience in healthcare, government settings, or Medicaid programs is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with MITA (Medicaid Information Technology Architecture) and Managed Care models is beneficial.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline) is preferred.
- 7 years of relevant experience is essential.
