Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement high-quality, scalable software for diverse environments
• Collaborate with peers to develop and evaluate APIs and software architecture
• Create tests to confirm software performance and reliability
• Build and sustain dependable, fault-tolerant applications and services
• Work alongside a globally dispersed team of engineers
• Spearhead technical initiatives within the organization and the broader community
• Diagnose and resolve issues efficiently
• Contribute to the development of comprehensive technical documentation
• Collaborate with various teams to enhance processes and outcomes
  
  

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Python and/or Go programming languages
• Experience in developing modern, maintainable software
• Familiarity with both relational and non-relational database systems
• Knowledge in CI/CD practices (Continuous Integration and Delivery)
• Background in systems programming or scalable web services
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Experience working with Linux, preferably Debian or Ubuntu
• Excellent interpersonal abilities, curiosity, adaptability, and accountability
• Self-driven, thoughtful, and passionate about engineering
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills

Qualifications

• Strong educational foundation (high school and university) or a compelling alternative route
• Degree in Computer Science, STEM, or equivalent experience
