Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and maintain sophisticated software applications within a critical Line of Business (LOB) system.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts to gather user requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
- Provide expertise in supporting and enhancing web and batch processing applications while assisting developers, analysts, and database administrators.
- Analyze and resolve production issues to ensure seamless operation of vital business applications.
- Stay informed on best practices in .NET development, database management, and enterprise application support.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior .NET Developer capacity.
- Proficient in Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server, and SQL Server Management.
- Strong command of VB.NET and a robust background in enterprise application development.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to operate independently and collaboratively in a dynamic work environment.
- Experience in health insurance processing is advantageous.
- Familiarity with batch processing related to correspondence and agency communications is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
