Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research and devise new algorithms for the exploitation of remote sensor data.
- Exhibit proficiency in both Python and C , showcasing strong software design and architectural skills.
- Create proof-of-concept tools for signal processing, image processing, and data exploitation utilizing Python.
- Improve existing Python-based tools that aid in machine learning, modeling, and simulation tasks.
- Assess the performance and quality of algorithms and sensor systems.
- Collaborate in an Agile team environment and contribute to shared development tools.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as needed.
- Mastery in C and Python programming languages.
- Solid understanding of low-latency data processing, fusion, and tracking algorithms.
- Experience in developing proof-of-concept tools for signal and image processing.
- Familiarity with machine learning, modeling, and simulation efforts.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in physical sciences, mathematics, engineering, or computer science.
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience with C , Python, and Linux operating systems (education may substitute for some experience).
- Experience with OPIR, E/O, SAR, Spectral, RF, or other types of remote sensing data.
- Strong attention to detail and the capacity to work full-time on-site in Boulder, CO.
