Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough audits of payroll data to verify accuracy, checking printouts against source documents for precise calculations and entries.
- Accurately collect and input bi-weekly payroll data, including deductions and direct deposits.
- Facilitate seamless data interfacing between various applications to ensure prompt payroll processing and distribution.
- Provide support in the preparation of year-end W-2s and associated tax filings.
- Address complex payroll-related inquiries from both employees and managers, ensuring clear communication and resolution.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in managing payroll data.
- Proficiency in PC applications, including Windows, Excel, and various database systems.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and early mornings, depending on business needs.
- Familiarity with payroll systems, timekeeping applications, spreadsheet software, and word processing tools.
- A minimum of 2-6 years of experience in payroll processing.
- Preferred: Associate’s Degree in a business-related field.
- Experience with PC systems for a minimum of 2-6 years.
