Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough audits of premium assessments to ensure precision and regulatory compliance.
- Utilize research tools to gather information and confirm classifications.
- Analyze policy data to identify discrepancies and recommend necessary adjustments.
- Communicate findings and policy changes effectively to internal teams.
- Prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet stringent deadlines.
- Act as a subject matter expert, providing technical guidance to both internal staff and external clients.
- Proactively troubleshoot issues within processes and systems.
- Engage in continuous professional development to enhance your skills.
- Support the Audit Call Center as needed.
- Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to foster a cohesive work environment.
- Proficient in keyboarding and various PC applications, including Microsoft Office.
- Completion of AINS or PAAS training or possess equivalent experience in the industry.
- Solid understanding of operating systems utilized in the processing unit.
- In-depth knowledge of manual guidelines, including Basic Manual, Underwriting Manuals, and State-Specific Manuals.
- Extensive experience using PAAS resources, including Codes, Bulletins, FAQs, and State Exceptions.
- Familiarity with underwriting rules, procedures, and classifications in workers’ compensation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational abilities with a focus on prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Proficient in interpreting payroll reports, tax returns, and supporting documentation.
- Ability to think proactively and respond to customer needs promptly.
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational capabilities.
