Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct large-scale, complex government projects, ensuring they align with strategic goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate effectively with federal agency personnel and stakeholders to attain successful results.
  • Offer expert technical advice and project planning support to fulfill established targets.
  • Track project performance, proactively resolve issues, and uphold a strong focus on client satisfaction.
  • Ensure adherence to relevant policies, regulations, and contractual requirements.
  • Remain available to address inquiries, concerns, and feedback from stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and promptly inform leadership of potential risks or issues.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree with 24 semester hours in business-related coursework, or 10 years of federal contract specialist experience in lieu of a degree.
  • At least 10 years of experience in quality management activities for government acquisitions.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in developing acquisition policies and guidance.
  • One of the following certifications:
    • DAWIA Level III
    • FAC-C Level III
    • NCMA Certified Federal Contract Manager (CFCM)
    • NCMA Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM)
