As a Public Cloud Project Manager, you will lead and facilitate significant public cloud projects for Tier 1 enterprise clients. Your responsibilities will encompass shaping client agreements, overseeing project lifecycles, and ensuring the alignment of both client and organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver projects and programs punctually, within defined scope, budget, and resource limitations.
- Identify and alleviate key technical and project-related risks.
- Maintain a robust customer-centric approach and collaborate with all stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.
- Assist in contract negotiations and develop statements of work (SoWs) as well as RFI/RFP responses.
- Conduct regular status meetings and business reviews with clients, providing necessary direction.
- Manage delivery timelines for essential third-party project outputs.
- Coordinate cross-organizational engineering requests beyond current contracts.
- Advocate for the adoption of suitable technologies to fulfill client requirements.
- Proven track record as a software development project manager, IT program/project manager, agile software manager, or scrum master within the IT cloud sector.
- Comprehensive understanding of Linux, open-source technologies, and public cloud ecosystems.
- Background in software engineering.
- Willingness and ability to travel both domestically and internationally.
- Strong negotiation and influencing capabilities.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
- PMI or equivalent certifications (e.g., Scrum Master) are advantageous.
- Full lifecycle project management experience.
- Experience in delivering global projects remotely is preferred.
