As a Public Cloud Project Manager, you will lead and facilitate significant public cloud projects for Tier 1 enterprise clients. You will collaborate closely with diverse teams, including software engineering and senior management, while managing multiple projects concurrently. Your responsibilities will encompass shaping client agreements, overseeing project lifecycles, and ensuring the alignment of both client and organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver projects and programs punctually, within defined scope, budget, and resource limitations.
• Identify and alleviate key technical and project-related risks.
• Maintain a robust customer-centric approach and collaborate with all stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.
• Assist in contract negotiations and develop statements of work (SoWs) as well as RFI/RFP responses.
• Conduct regular status meetings and business reviews with clients, providing necessary direction.
• Manage delivery timelines for essential third-party project outputs.
• Coordinate cross-organizational engineering requests beyond current contracts.
• Advocate for the adoption of suitable technologies to fulfill client requirements.
  
  

Required Skills

• Proven track record as a software development project manager, IT program/project manager, agile software manager, or scrum master within the IT cloud sector.
• Comprehensive understanding of Linux, open-source technologies, and public cloud ecosystems.
• Background in software engineering.
• Willingness and ability to travel both domestically and internationally.
• Strong negotiation and influencing capabilities.
• Exceptional communication skills.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
• PMI or equivalent certifications (e.g., Scrum Master) are advantageous.
• Full lifecycle project management experience.
• Experience in delivering global projects remotely is preferred.
