Key Responsibilities
As a Project Manager, your expertise will be crucial in:
- Assisting with database analytics and providing support to the Chief Data Officer (CDO).
- Establishing and promoting best practices for AI governance, ensuring the ethical and secure use of tools and systems.
- Documenting policies and processes related to Data Management and Data Sharing.
- Supporting the implementation of the NASA data catalog.
- Facilitating collaborative working groups to enhance NASA's data stewardship community of practice.
- Contributing to Data Reference Architecture analytics and developing tools for improved data search and discovery.
- Enhancing processes for the Chief Data Office and setting up performance metrics aligned with the IT Strategic Plan.
- Developing and delivering performance reports for both the front office and IT leadership.
- Ensuring adherence to established best practices and policies.
- Defining requirements for performance management consistent with IT program/project management and IT service management.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- 8 years of project management experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in Data Architecture.
- 3-5 years of performance management experience (business/mission outcomes, project execution, and operational delivery).
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Familiarity with Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and/or Balanced Scorecard practices.
- Experience utilizing tools to capture and implement requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, OneNote, OneDrive), SharePoint, and Box.
