Our technology team is comprised of forward-thinking professionals dedicated to advancing state-of-the-art solutions within the Commercial Real Estate (CRE) sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and architect database schemas, data ingestion models, ETL processes, and comprehensive testing protocols to guarantee data integrity and accessibility.
- Optimize and maintain existing data architectures and pipelines while ensuring rigorous documentation practices are upheld.
- Mentor and guide junior team members through various training methods, including pair programming and code evaluations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, research, operations, and front-end teams to create innovative solutions that align with business goals.
- Conduct analyses of large, aggregated datasets encompassing demographic, geographic, and GIS/spatial data.
- Engage with development teams across different time zones, particularly collaborating with a primary team based in California.
- Ensure overlapping working hours with the US West Coast (3-4 hours daily) to facilitate seamless communication and collaboration.
- Proficient in Python programming, especially with libraries such as Pandas, SQLAlchemy, Flask, and FastAPI.
- Extensive experience with database management systems, primarily MySQL, SQL, or PostgreSQL, for a minimum of 5 years.
- Strong command of Git; familiarity with Atlassian tools such as Confluence and Jira is advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, outstanding communication capabilities, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to function autonomously in a fast-paced Agile environment while effectively managing multiple tasks.
- A consistent record of staying abreast of emerging cloud technologies, new programming languages, and industry best practices.
- Familiarity with finance, real estate data, mathematics, or GIS/spatial data is a plus.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with remote teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of programming experience in Python.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience with database technologies.
- Demonstrated experience in a collaborative Agile work environment.
