Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-quality cloud-native applications utilizing Java/Spring Boot microservices on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Translate complex project requirements into actionable tasks and development strategies.
- Implement unit and integration testing to ensure software quality and reliability.
- Engage in design and code reviews to uphold high coding standards.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (Product Management, etc.) to ensure technical requirements are met.
- Participate in Agile processes including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Comprehensive understanding of Computer Science fundamentals, including object-oriented design, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
- Proficiency in Java 8 and Spring Boot.
- Hands-on experience with both relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB, Redis).
- Familiarity with front-end JavaScript frameworks (Angular, ReactJS, etc.).
- Expertise in Test-Driven Development (TDD), Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), and Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
- Solid experience following modern software engineering practices throughout the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment tools.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with messaging platforms like RabbitMQ and Kafka.
- Experience using Atlassian tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related field.
- Several years of proven experience as a Full-stack Java/API Developer, showcasing a track record in developing scalable cloud-based solutions.
