Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement custom business applications utilizing Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Collaborate effectively with business analysts and project managers to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into robust technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain data models, entities, and relationships within Microsoft Dataverse (CDS).
- Create custom connectors and integrate various applications with RESTful APIs, JSON, and XML.
- Ensure security and compliance across all solutions, adhering to organizational policies.
- Participate in a modernization initiative for a Java-based application, supporting a proof of concept for our government client.
- Provide technical support by troubleshooting and resolving application performance issues.
- Stay abreast of advancements in Power Platform, Azure, and related technologies.
- Mentor junior developers and engage in code reviews to foster team growth.
- Extensive experience with Power Apps (both Canvas and Model-driven apps), Power Automate, Power BI, and CDS.
- Proficiency in Java, RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, and familiarity with Azure services such as Azure Functions and Logic Apps.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, complemented by excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is required. Advanced degrees or certifications like Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer are advantageous.
- A minimum of 5 years of software development experience, with over 3 years specifically focused on Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Current secret clearance is mandatory due to the nature of the project.
