Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop robust, high-performance backend services utilizing TypeScript and Node.js.
- Create and implement scalable, cloud-native architectures on platforms like Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or other cloud services.
- Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and indexing strategies for PostgreSQL and Redis to ensure effective data management.
- Capitalize on your SaaS expertise to construct scalable, reliable multi-tenant solutions that empower our growing user base.
- Employ Docker for containerization of applications, facilitating seamless deployment and scalability.
- Collaborate with product managers, frontend developers, and other team members to deliver exceptional solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and participate in architectural decision-making to enhance the platform's scalability and overall performance.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional software engineering experience, particularly in backend systems.
- Advanced proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js.
- Comprehensive understanding of database technologies, specifically PostgreSQL and Redis.
- Proven experience in designing, optimizing, and managing database schemas and queries.
- Familiarity with Docker for containerized workflows.
- Experience working with at least one cloud service provider (GCP, AWS, Azure).
- Strong grasp of cloud-native architectures, including microservices, distributed systems, and serverless technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging capabilities.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to take ownership of complex projects and deliver results with minimal oversight.
- Proven experience in a SaaS company or with SaaS products.
- Knowledge of observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) and performance monitoring is a plus.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code tools like Terraform is advantageous.
