About The Claims Management Team

Become a valued member of our dynamic Claims Management team, where your contributions will lead to the development of groundbreaking solutions for our SaaS product. In your role as a Senior Software Engineer, you will collaborate with colleagues to implement industry-leading features, APIs, and scalability enhancements. You will tackle complex technical challenges and drive the continuous improvement of our platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Expand our platform's offerings for service providers.
• Design APIs with a strong focus on performance and scalability.
• Continuously enhance our technology stack, processes, and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with other engineering teams to improve platform configurability.
• Work closely with product management and design teams to solve complex challenges.
• Contribute to technical design processes, providing suggestions for enhancements.
• Participate in an agile environment with regular stand-ups and retrospectives.
• Proactively review project scope, identify issues, and propose alternatives.
• Mentor junior developers and uphold best practices within the team.
  
  

Required Skills

• Proficiency in designing and building APIs.
• Experience in creating schemas and optimized queries for relational databases.
• Understanding of scalability challenges and performance of server-side code.
• Expertise in building applications using React and Redux or similar frontend frameworks.
• Familiarity with Ruby on Rails or equivalent backend frameworks.
• Ability to apply design patterns in frontend application development.
• Experience in developing web applications that are compatible across various devices and screen sizes.
• Strong grasp of the web technology stack (HTTP, cookies, asset loading/caching) and modern web technologies (ES6, HTML5, Progressive Web Apps).
  
  

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM field.
• A minimum of 5 years of full-stack web development experience.
