Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop ServiceNow applications and modules, focusing on form design, workflow creation, and custom scripting to enhance functionality.
- Configure ServiceNow modules and applications such as incident management, change management, and problem management to reflect the specific requirements of our business.
- Build and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and other platforms using web services, APIs, or relevant integration tools to optimize workflows.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues associated with the ServiceNow platform, including debugging and addressing scripts, workflows, and integrations to ensure seamless operation.
- Document technical details regarding ServiceNow configurations, customizations, and integrations to maintain accurate records for future reference.
- Collaborate effectively with business analysts, project managers, and end-users to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
- Implement best practices for ServiceNow development and administration, adhering to coding standards, testing protocols, and change management procedures.
- Participate in system upgrades and maintenance activities, ensuring smooth transitions with minimal disruption to daily operations.
- Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in ServiceNow development and administration.
- Familiarity with web applications, networks, protocols, and email services (SMTP, POP3).
- Comprehensive understanding of ITIL v3 methodologies, particularly in incident, change, and problem management.
- Knowledge of enterprise IT architecture and infrastructure.
- Experience with relational databases and their integration with ServiceNow.
- Proficient in web technologies including XML, HTML, JavaScript, AJAX, CSS, and HTTP.
- Strong organizational skills with at least 5 years dedicated to time management and documentation.
- Ability to translate intricate end-user requirements into functional code.
- Positive attitude with a commitment to ongoing learning and improvement.
- Strong dedication to delivering quality service consistently.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience with LDAP directories such as Active Directory, eDirectory, and OpenLDAP.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in effective communication.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline preferred.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in ServiceNow development and administration.
