Key Responsibilities
- Research and create new algorithms dedicated to remote sensor data exploitation.
- Exhibit proficiency in Python and C , demonstrating strong software design and architectural competence.
- Develop proof-of-concept tools for signal processing, image processing, and data exploitation utilizing Python.
- Enhance existing Python-based tools employed in machine learning, modeling, and simulation tasks.
- Assess the performance and quality of algorithms and sensor systems.
- Collaborate within an Agile team environment, contributing to shared development resources.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as required.
- Proficient in Python and C programming languages.
- Solid understanding of software design principles and architecture.
- Experience with developing algorithms for remote sensor data.
- Capability to create proof-of-concept tools for signal and image processing.
- Familiarity with machine learning, modeling, and simulation techniques.
- Strong attention to detail coupled with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in physical sciences, mathematics, engineering, or computer science.
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience with C , Python, and Linux operating systems, with the possibility of educational experience substituting for some work experience.
- Experience working with OPIR, E/O, SAR, Spectral, RF, or other forms of remote sensing data.
- Must be able to work full-time on-site in Boulder, CO.
