Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Engineering Manager to steer the team's initiatives towards long-term project objectives.
- Transition product goals into scalable architectural designs that encompass non-functional requirements, thereby crafting well-defined epics for the team.
- Act as a technical lead, executing epics that may require substantial technical exploration before implementation.
- Lead technical discussions, ensuring team alignment on best practices while navigating technical debt against timely delivery.
- Offer constructive feedback on design decisions through insightful inquiries.
- Uphold high standards of code quality by providing feedback on reviews with a focus on flexibility, reusability, extensibility, and performance.
- Promote continuous enhancement of the team's technical expertise and efficiency.
- Mentor and coach junior team members actively.
- Carefully consider technical interdependencies during software design involving multiple interacting components.
- Champion cross-team initiatives aimed at optimizing processes and systems beyond immediate team boundaries.

- Strong foundation in relational databases.
- Proven experience in Domain Driven Design, cloud-based solutions, and leading large-scale software delivery and modernization projects.
- Demonstrated experience in developing highly interactive applications.
- Profound understanding of object-oriented analysis and design principles.
- Familiarity with system architecture and developer tools.
- Experience with unit testing and automation of integration tests.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with both technical and business-oriented colleagues.
- Experience in migrating products from data centers to cloud environments is desirable.
- Experience in managing large-scale SaaS production environments with a focus on availability, reliability, and resiliency is a plus.
- Familiarity with Azure, GCP, or AWS is preferred.
