Key Responsibilities
- Develop, program, and implement IT solutions utilizing Python to enhance enterprise-level customer experience applications.
- Document systems thoroughly, conduct unit tests, perform peer code reviews, and maintain applications developed in-house.
- Assess and execute performance testing on third-party products.
- Establish IT controls to secure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of applications and the associated data.
- Contribute to system design, coding, testing, and change management protocols.
- Engage with a variety of databases, such as SQL, MySQL, Oracle DB, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, dBase, and MS Access.
- Design and implement robust RESTful APIs using Python, ensuring an efficient and scalable system architecture.
- Manage batch file processing, scheduling of batch operations, and data management effectively.
- Collaborate with team members to assess various libraries and technologies, ensuring they fulfill both business and technical requirements.
- Proven expertise in unit testing, release procedures, and change management processes.
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of the systems development life cycle.
- Extensive experience with SQL scripting, querying, and advanced database management techniques.
- Proficiency in Python programming, particularly in creating REST APIs and managing batch file processes.
- Familiarity with UNIX/Linux shell scripting and PySpark, alongside experience in a Hadoop environment.
- Experience handling large datasets (millions of records) and conducting data analysis.
- Competency in using Microsoft Suite and flowcharting tools like Visio.
- A methodical approach to evaluating technologies and libraries tailored to business necessities.

- A degree in a relevant field, or equivalent work experience.
