Key Responsibilities
- Spearhead the technical design and implementation of order processing systems, ensuring optimal reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Mentor fellow engineers, conduct code reviews, and advocate for best practices in software development.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and other stakeholders to gather project requirements and facilitate seamless execution.
- Design, develop, and sustain highly available backend systems that underpin business applications and integrations.
- Partner with QA teams to uphold software quality and support testing initiatives.
- Over 7 years of software development experience, specifically in creating secure, scalable backend services with Java and Spring Boot.
- Solid expertise in event-driven architecture and message processing via Apache Kafka.
- Experience working effectively with remote and hybrid teams, including international partners.
- Proven track record of mentoring engineers and promoting technical best practices.
- Proficient in microservices architecture and service-oriented design principles.
- Hands-on experience with a range of AWS services (EC2, ECS, Lambda, etc.).
- Strong capability in GraphQL API design and implementation with Java.
- Knowledgeable in both relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, DynamoDB, etc.).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, Docker, and testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
- Excellent analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and communication proficiency.
- A minimum of 7 years of relevant software development experience.
- A proven ability to guide and mentor engineers.
- Strong foundation in backend service development utilizing Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience in collaborating with remote and hybrid teams.
