Key Responsibilities
- Spearhead the annual preparation, filing, and reconciliation of 1099⁄1042 tax reporting, serving as the primary contact for provider inquiries and B-Notice requirements.
- Ensure compliance with state sales and use tax regulations by preparing tax provisions, estimated payments, journal entries, and conducting quarterly account reconciliations.
- Administer the integrity of the vendor master database, verifying compliance and accuracy while supervising new vendor setups and ongoing updates.
- Utilize advanced Excel capabilities to develop and maintain departmental metrics, providing analysis and reporting of financial data to extract actionable insights.
- Lead cross-functional projects by creating detailed work plans, allocating necessary resources, assessing potential risks, and ensuring the timely completion of tasks.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a relevant financial position.
- Strong foundational knowledge of 1099⁄1042 tax reporting and compliance standards.
- Proficient in handling sales and use tax filings, encompassing journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Advanced Excel skills for data mining, financial reporting, and metrics analysis.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, fostering a team-oriented environment.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving capabilities, adept at navigating challenges effectively.
- Capacity to prioritize multiple tasks and adapt in a fast-paced setting.
- Experience managing vendor databases, underscoring the importance of precision.

- An Associate's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
