We are looking for an accomplished Web Content Architect to play a pivotal role in the migration of approximately 80 Drupal websites to an upgraded codebase and design. This position will be instrumental in refining the content strategy and enhancing user experience, collaborating closely with agency content managers while leveraging analytical insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with agency content managers to assess Google Analytics data and insights from various SEO tools, offering informed recommendations on retiring outdated content, enhancing content design, and improving website navigation.
- Provide specialized knowledge in website accessibility, ensuring adherence to best practices to create inclusive and user-friendly websites for all users.
- Conduct training sessions for content managers on the new web design system, guiding them through the content migration process.
- Deliver ongoing support to agencies throughout the content migration to assure a seamless transition.
- Demonstrated expertise in keyword optimization and SEO best practices.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in editing content for clarity and accessibility, targeting an 8th-grade reading level.
- Competence in generating Google Analytics reports and utilizing Google Tag Manager effectively.
- Familiarity with web accessibility standards.
- Experience in managing and loading content into Drupal and other content management systems such as WordPress and DNN.
- Practical experience with SEO tools like Monsido and Crazy Egg.
- Proven capability in creating training documentation and providing effective training to users.
- Solid background in content management system account administration.
- Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, English, or a related discipline.
- 3 years of experience in SEO, content management, and website analytics.
- Proven track record in training users and developing support materials.
- Strong understanding of web accessibility standards and practices.
